Anfang von etwas, an exhibition catalogue with only beginnings, no ends: two book front pages, many possible text beginnings and no completed texts. This catalogue is accompanying the exhibition of Giacomo Santiago Rogado in 2021 at Städtische Galerie Delmenhorst. The main attraction of this solo-show is a 16 meters long panoramic painting named “Anfang von etwas” stretching over the full length of the leporello. There is no “front” or “back” in this book, both ends begin with a booklet which then opens up into a leporello of which one side is completely black and white and the other coloured.
